The Photography Research Library features hundreds of
books on photography available for study, research or personal enjoyment.

The collection is indexed with names, dates and locations of
the first recorded photographers operating in Nova Scotia.
A quick glance down the shelves reveals all the top names –
Adams, Avedon, Beny, Curtis, Haskins, Karsh, Muench,
Newman, Notman, Weston, and many others,
There is also, of course, a complete collection of the
over 68 publications by Sherman Hines himself.
