About the Competition: Have you taken a photograph that you think is exceptional, and a potential award winner?
This is your chance to shine! The Ninth Annual Sherman Hines Museum of Photography Postcard Competition is now underway and we are awaiting your spectacular images!
The Postcard competition issues a challenge to make your wonderful photographic images into a postcard! Unlike most photography contents, the Postcard competition is inexpensive and easy to enter... a postcard requires no packing, mailing costs are under 60 cents Canadian, matting and framing costs are non-existent, and the cost of enlarging is eliminated. It is as easy as putting a stamp on the back of your photograph!
Get inspired – this is truly an open subject contest and the judge, Sherman Hines, has no image boundaries. Go for humor or drama, brilliant color or serene black and white, pets, lifestyle, portraits, or pictorials; go wherever your imagination takes you! Every photographer has a favorite image, a picture that "says a thousand words"; what a chance to show it!
Terrific prizes will be awarded to 20 winners. Read the rules of entry below then grabyour camera, and start shooting!
